Other splices variants not yet included in this classification are human δ47 (lacking the last 47 amino acids), rat CTRE2+ or CTR1b (with a 37-amino acid insert in the second extracellular loop) and rabbit δTM7 (lacking the last transmembrane helix). IUPHAR is currently looking into the nomenclature of splice variants and will publish guidelines in the near future.
