Their absolute values for E and H are also considerably lower than ours due to the different strain of mice used in their bleomycin model.

Using genome-wide linkage analysis, a body of data now exists in mouse models from our laboratory and others that shows that radiation-induced lung fibrosis is a heritable trait controlled by a few genetic factors.13,15,16,18,19,29
