Identification of zebrafish histamine H<inf>1</inf>, H<inf>2</inf> and H<inf>3</inf> receptors and effects of histaminergic ligands on behavior
2007, Biochemical PharmacologyCitation Excerpt :No other closely related sequences were identified in the databases. Amino acids known to be of importance for ligand binding to the H2 receptor are an aspartic acid in TM3 and aspartic acid and threonine in TM5 [52]. Aspartic acid-arginine-tyrosine (DRY) residues in the IC2 have been reported to be of importance for the receptor stability [53], and this motif is conserved in zebrafish.
