Comparison of physiological functions between neuromedin U-related peptide and neuromedin S-related peptide in the rat central nervous system
2021, Biochemical and Biophysical Research CommunicationsPurification and identification of native forms of goldfish neuromedin U from brain and gut
2019, Biochemical and Biophysical Research CommunicationsCitation Excerpt :In our previous study, no transcript encoding NMU-9 was identified in any tissues of the goldfish [8]. NMU was first isolated from porcine spinal cord, and two molecular forms, NMU-25 and NMU-8, were identified [1,2]. Porcine NMU-25 has the dibasic Arg-Arg cleavage sequence at positions 16 and 17, accounting for the production of porcine NMU-8.
