In addition, 15-PGDH activity has been reported in rabbit kidney cortex [71,72] as well as in maternal rat kidney and fetal rat and lamb kidney [73]. All this evidence suggests that 15-keto-PGE2 might have a potentially detrimental role in kidney biology.
